3rd Annual Middlesex County History Day- May 21

 

 

Middlesex County Office of Culture and Heritage will hold its third annual History Day on Sunday, May 21, 2017, from 10:00am to 4:00pm at East Jersey Old Town Village, located in Johnson Park in Piscataway.

History Day is a FREE site-wide open house featuring family-fun activities for all ages and vintage children’s games and crafts.

Join them for historic craft demonstrations throughout the buildings and grounds, carriage rides in the park, period music, vintage children’s games & crafts and a presentation by the American Historical Theatre. Numerous exhibitors including Crossroads, the Metlar-Bodine House, the DAR, the Metuchen-Edison Historical Society and the Proprietary House will be there too!

Visit East Jersey Old Town Village, a gateway site to the Crossroads of the American Revolution, where 14 historic buildings were relocated and renovated for use as a village devoted to New Jersey’s rich heritage.
