Discover Revolutionary NJ during County-wide History Weekends

Over 70 historic sites and museums spanning four counties will open their doors to visitors in the month of October. Explore Morris County on Oct. 7 & 8 during their “Pathways to History” event or explore Sussex County during their “7th Annual Heritage Weekend.” Then head south to discover all historic Somerset County has to offer during their “Weekend Journey through the Past” event on Oct. 14 & 15. Finally, venture over to Union County on Oct. 21 & 22 to explore their historic gems during “Four Centuries in a Weekend!”

If you aren’t up to a day trip throughout the county, why not visit Middlesex County’s East Jersey Old Town Village for their Revolutionary War Encampment on Oct. 7 & 8 or go to Mercer County’s Washington Crossing State Park and take part in their Revolutionary War Encampment on Oct. 14 & 15. If those two counties are too north for you, why not visit Haddon Heights in Camden County for their own Revolutionary War Encampment on Oct. 14th.
