19th Annual Declaration of Independence Reading & July 4th Celebration at Ringwood State Park

Celebrate July 4th at Ringwood Manor with what has become a tradition for northern New Jersey families!
In July of 1776, the Declaration of Independence was signed and first read to Americans. Hear the words again on America’s 242nd birthday. Relive history with a traditional colonial celebration of America’s independence.
Spend your holiday at Ringwood Manor!
The Manor will be open to the public from 10am to 2pm as an open house. $3 for adults, $1 children ages 6-12, children 5 and under free

* Display on Ringwood’s Robert Erskine *
* Drill with the Militia *
* 18th Century Sutlers *
* Colonial Beer Brewing Demonstration *
* Sign your own Declaration *
* 18th Century Dancing *
* Flag Display*
* The Declaration will be Delivered by Horse & Rider *
Admission to the reenactment is Free. State Park entrance fees will be in effect: $5 per car parking fee for in-state residents; $7 per car parking fee for out-of-state residents
