“A Blast Heard in Philadelphia: John Barry & the Battle of Turtle Gut Inlet” Fireside Chats at Cold Spring Brewery

Cold Spring Village’s own Cold Spring Brewery, we’ll be serving up some tasty brews and historical knowledge with the free lecture series Fireside Chats. Gather round the fireplace at Cold Spring Brewery for this free lecture series with Historic Cold Spring Village’s own Deputy Director Jim Stephens!
On February 1st, “A Blast Heard in Philadelphia: John Barry & the Battle of Turtle Gut Inlet” will  discuss the June 29, 1776 Battle of Turtle Gut Inlet, the only engagement of note to take place in Cape May County during the Revolution. Come on in, get warm, grab a good brew, and find out why that bridge was named after Commodore John Barry!
