Home School Day at Liberty Hall Museum
Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at 10:00 am - 12:00 pm$10
Explore the exciting field of architecture at Liberty Hall Museum. Using the buildings on the museum campus as a springboard, students will discover how architects shape the world we live in. We will offer two programs running concurrently for students from Pre-K through high school level. Early American games will be available during the afternoon for your enjoyment.
For younger students (4 through 7 years old), our Houses and Homes program will explore houses around the world, building materials and give students the opportunity to create both 2D and 3D structures.
Older students (8 years and older) will enjoy learning how systems of measurement changed and became standardized, creating their own measuring tool and working on collaborative design project in our Adventures in Architecture program.
We encourage you to pack a picnic lunch and stay to enjoy the grounds after the program concludes at 12:00 noon.
Program Fee: $10.00 per student, $6.00 per accompanying adult.
Reservations required, space is limited. Please visit the Liberty Hall website to make arrangements.
