Hopewell Valley Historical Society Hosts Bus Trip to Philadelphia’s Museum of the American Revolution
Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 8:45 am - 5:00 pm
The Hopewell Valley Historical Society is proud to announce its first ever bus trip – to Philadelphia and the exciting new Museum of the American Revolution. You will see George Washington’s actual camp tent as well as many other Revolutionary War artifacts. The HVHS is offering this trip on Saturday, April 7, 2018. We will meet at the Pennington Market Shopping Center on Route 31 at 8:45 AM and depart at precisely 9 AM. We will then return to the shopping center at approximately 5 PM.
During the ride to Philadelphia, HVHS President and noted historian Larry Kidder will talk about the museum and the history of the period. At the Museum, we will have a guided tour as well as time to explore on your own. Lunch is on your own also and you may choose to dine at the Museum’s Cross Keys Café or head to a local Philadelphia restaurant. For more museum info, see http://www.amrevmuseum.org
The trip is limited to 56 people and is currently half full. The price for the trip is $65 ($55 for HVHS members). Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
If we have more reservation requests than seats, we will establish a waiting list, first come first served, so that if anyone with a reservation has to withdraw, a waiting list customer will fill that seat. We will only issue a refund if there is a waiting list at the time of the withdrawal request or if you find a replacement for your seat.
If you wish to reserve your spot, please mail a check made out to HVHS along with your name, address, email, home and cell phone to:
PO Box 371
Pennington, NJ 08534
Please also indicate how you would like to be contacted and if you have any special needs.
Please be aware that all guests will be required to sign a waiver to the Society before entering the bus.
