HISTORIC SITES BY NIGHT- Lantern Walking Tours of three Historic Buildings in Washington Crossing State Park, New Jersey
Experience the eighteenth century with the warmth and glow of the open hearth, candle and lantern light.
Learn the Colonial and Revolutionary history of this popular state park. Enjoy refreshments that the colonists would have known and listen to period fiddle music by Jim Kurzenberger.
The Johnson Ferry House is hosting 2 tours at 7 pm and 7:30 pm on Friday, December 22. Each tour is limited to 25 people and begins at the Nelson House on the river front, proceeding to the ferry boat, overlook and wood shop in the Stone Barn. The tours end at the Johnson Ferry House with narration, refreshment and fiddle music. We will walk by lantern light from site to site.
Fee is $10 for adults and $5 for children and seniors. Preregistration is a must at 609-737-2515. Please call early as tours fill up fast.
