Union County’s “Four Centuries in a Weekend”

An event every day that begins at 12:00pm, repeating until October 22, 2017
Explore and experience the rich history that has been preserved throughout Union County, through tours, demonstrations, displays and reenactments at over 25 historic sites on October 21st and 22nd. Among the sites open is the Caldwell Parsonage where members of the Union Township Historical Society, dressed in colonial costume, will host an open house at the Caldwell Parsonage, located at 909 Caldwell Avenue, Union, and tours of the Union Tool Museum in the adjacent carriage house (barn). There will be photo ops for children with prop tricorn hats or bonnets; and kids can participate in hands-on activities, such as the making of “church” dolls and the playing of colonial games. “Rev. James Caldwell” will greet visitors between 2 and 5 pm on Saturday. Refreshments will be served. Kawameeh Middle School National Junior Honor Society students will serve as historic interpreters. Admission is free.
Time: 10:00am-5:00pm- Saturday and 12:00pm-5:00pm- Sunday.
