March 27 at 7:00 pm - 8:15 pm

$00

Come join the Woodbridge Historical Association on March 27 and learn about John Watson (1685-1768), New Jersey’s First Professional Artist. This program will be presented by Donald J. Peck based on John Kerry Dyke’s documentary on this forgotten artist who made his home on Water Street in Colonial Perth Amboy, purchasing an adjacent property for his art gallery.

In his documentary, Producer Dyke and his crew researched the archives in several states as well as incorporated artifacts from an archaeological dig conducted by Monmouth University.

This presentation will be held on Monday, March 27, at 7pm in the Downstairs Meeting Room of Woodbridge Public Library located at the corner of George Frederick Plaza and Amboy Avenue. Light refreshments will follow.
