The valiant and bold leadership of General Washington has long been honored as seen in this statue of him standing at the bow of his boat as he leads his army across the Delaware River. Located in Douglass Plaza on the banks of the Assunpink Creek, the statue was dedicated in the City of Trenton in 1889.
