Don’t miss the 57th Annual Reenactment of the Col. Hand March on Saturday, Jan. 5 at 10am. An unsung hero, is Edward Hand, colonel of the 1st Pennsylvania Regiment, saw action in all three engagements of the Ten Crucial Days campaign. This event is a commemoration of Colonel Edward Hand’s Delaying Actions on the Maidenhead – Trenton Road on January 2nd, 1777. Historical programming and musket firings take place at the Municipal Center before a two-mile march along the historic highway leads to a cannon fire at the Shabakunk Creek (Notre Dame HS).
