First Day Walking Tour of Historic New Bridge Landing

Join Bergen County Historical Society’s Past President and Museum Collection Chair Deborah Powell on Monday January 1st 1 pm- 2:30 pm for a First Day Walking Tour of Historic New Bridge Landing.

Learn about the history of three Jersey-Dutch sandstone houses on site and explore the sites complex history beginning with the Native Americans, the history of the American Revolution at New Bridge and the people who lived there and their livelihoods.

The tour will begin at the meadow at the corner of Hackensack Ave and Main St. and will end at the state historic 1752 Steuben House a quick tour followed by cider and cookies.

Ticket reservations are encouraged: $15 adults, students under 22 years old and BCHS members free.

Free parking available on site or take the train to “New Bridge Landing” station on the Pascack Valley Line.

Dogs are permitted on site on a leash but not in the houses.
