Fort Lee Historic Park Presents: George Washington’s Military Leadership with Dr. Ed Lengel

Sunday, October 14, 2018 at 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Looking for your Washington fix? Stop by the park next to the bridge that bears his name for Dr. Ed Lengel’s fascinating lecture on George Washington’s military leadership. Ed will discuss Washington’s strategic vision for winning the war without losing the American people or hopes for future prosperity, and more! Stick around after the lecture to talk history with Ed or to get your books signed by the author himself!

Dr. Lengel is one of the nation’s premier historians of Washington. He has written and edited numerous works including the highly praised “George Washington: A Military Life,” and “First Entrepreneur: How George Washington Built His and the Nation’s Prosperity.” Ed has also written extensively on World War I and has a much anticipated work coming out this fall titled “Never in Finer Company: the Men of the Great War’s Lost Battalion.”

This event will take place in the auditorium of the visitor center at Fort Lee Historic Park. It is free and open to the public of all ages.
