Re-enactment event held at The Trent House Museum
Washington’s and Rochambeau’s Armies meet the Town in Trenton August 1781
Other activities going on all day from 10 am to 4 pm include:
- Camp setups of Le Regiment Bourbonnais (with demonstrations of card and dice games) and 1st Rhode Island (with display of equipment)
- Storytelling of French folk and fairy tales
- Table display of medical equipment of the day explained by the town doctor
- Bandage rolling and making of sweet bags to ward off smallpox
- Forge and blacksmithing tools explained by the town blacksmith
- Patriotic tea tasting with herb tea
- Uniform construction by tailor from Old Barracks
