Colonial Concert and Historic House Tours

Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Join the Heritage Trail Association for a Rare event.

True to his reputation, ‘Convivial Phil’ Van Horne is hosting the Amazing Enslows for a free concert for his friends and neighbors and those yet to be know to him!

Anne and Ridley Enslow have been engaged by Col. Van Horne and will provide a Colonial Concert on the lawn of the Van Horne House from 2-3pm.  Masters of music of the period, Anne and Ridley will play, sing and even have their ‘Limberjack’ dance along to the music.  CD’s will be sold after the concert for 20.00 each.

For the rarity–the Dutch Founders of NJ will be holding their annual re-organization meeting before we open  to the public and the incoming President–is a Van Horne!  These descendants of our founders and early settlers will be in attendance for the afternoon and will enjoy speaking to you and answering questions about their groups-maybe you qualify and do not know it!

House tours will be given from 3-4pm after the concert.

BRING your blankets, lawn chairs and refreshments-PACK IN AND PACK OUT including trash and enjoy a nice afternoon outside as the guests of Colonel and Mrs. Van Horne and some of their friends and neighbors!

FREE to the public-tax deductible donation are welcome to help HTA keep quality programing available at a low cost.

** The house exterior will be undergoing some restoration, but the house access for restrooms and tours will be available, parking is limited and parking BEHIND Target at 200 Promenade Way, Bridgewater may be a safe bet.

PLEASE ALLOW 2 WEEKS NOTICE FOR ANY HANDICAPPED NEEDS SO WE MAY ACCOMMODATE YOU.
