Colonial-era Midwifery at the Bouman-Stickney Farmstead

Learn about the midwifery as it was practiced in Colonial America as Janine Quimby discusses its impact on literature. An English Language Arts teacher at Ridge High School in Basking Ridge, NJ, Quimby focused much of her graduate work in English on the role of midwives and witches in literature.

This lecture is held inside the historic Wade-Wyckoff Barn located at the Bouman-Stickney Farmstead in the Stanton section of Readington Township, GPS address: 114 Dreahook Road Lebanon NJ 08833.
