Historic Peachfield and the National Society of Colonial Dames of America in the State of New Jersey are pleased to present the 2021-22 season of “First Sunday Series” — New Jersey: Our Storied Past
“His Majesty’s Infernal Nuisance: The Colonial Privateers
2:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Tony McNichol, archaeologist and cultural resource planner for the New Jersey Pinelands Commission, will discuss the critical role of privateering in the New Jersey colony prior to and during the Revolutionary War. Particular attention will be given to the patriot financiers and captains who defiantly established their homes and guerilla bases in the torturous bends of the Mullica River.
COVID-19 GUIDELINES
In an effort to keep everyone safe, proof of Covid-19 vaccination is required to attend. If you have not been fully vaccinated, you will not be able to enter Peachfield. Masks are required. We will take temperatures upon arrival. Seating will be spaced. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Cost per participant is $10.00
