Help Liberty Hall celebrate Constitution Day with our Third Thursday Lecture Series. James Madison reportedly once said, “William Livingston did not take an active part in the debates at the Constitutional Convention but he was placed on important Committees where it may be presumed that he had an agency and a due influence.” Was Madison accusing Livingston of being lazy? What was Livingston’s role at the Constitutional Convention?
