When Women Lost the Vote: Revolutionary New Jersey, 1776-1807

Some women and free people of color voted in New Jersey during the first three decades of New Jersey’s statehood. Join the Museum of the American Revolution for an online presentation on their special exhibition When Women Lost the Vote, featuring new discoveries on this period in early New Jersey democracy and rare artifacts including a lady’s pocket on loan from Wallace House State Historic Site.
