A special project is well under way at Morris County’s Department of Public Planning and Public Works Division of Planning and Preservation. Jan Williams, Cultural and Historic Resources Specialist for Morris County along with Long Valley resident and veteran, Forrest “Woody” Burgener and Charles Jurgenson, Morris County’s Veteran Services Officer, are developing a public database that will include information on veterans dating all the way back to pre-Revolutionary War days.
