General William Maxwell Chapter NJDAR to host Remembrance Ceremony at Greenwich Cemetery, Stewartsville, NJ
Come celebrate the renovation of the graves of General William Maxwell, only Brigadier General of NJ during the American Revolution, his two brothers, Lt. Robert and Capt. John, and their wives, by the General William Maxwell Chapter. The ceremony will take place around 11:00am, starting after the worship service at Old Greenwich Presbyterian Church, 17 Greenwich Church Rd, Stewartsville, NJ. Ceremony tours after. The General William Maxwell Chapter has been working on the renovation project for two years and raised approx. $12,000 for it. The Greenwich Presbyterian Church is celebrating its 275th anniversary.
