The Johnson Ferry House in Washington Crossing State Park in Titusville, New Jersey was used by General Washington and his staff throughout the midnight crossing of the Delaware River on Christmas Night 1776. Living history demonstrations at the Ferry House provide insight into the lives of colonists as farmers and homemakers, tavern keepers and ferry service operators.
