Built on a bluff overlooking Watson’s Creek in Hamilton, the Isaac Watson House was built in 1708 and is now within John A. Roebling Park, a 257-acre nature preserve. It is recognized to be the oldest house in Mercer County and was first restored by NJDAR in 1964 as part of the New Jersey Tercentenary Celebration. Visit the historic Isaac Watson House and tour 'behind the curtains' with costumed reenactors who will entertain you with stories of the home's former residents. Luminaria will light the way to the front door, and the house will be lit with replica candlesticks reminiscent of the mid 1700s.
