Brunswick Resolves for Somerset County’s History on the Green

250 years ago in July 1774 Somerset County convened a committee of correspondence and 71 delegates from 11 of New Jersey’s 13 counties gathered in New Brunswick to appoint delegates from New Jersey to the First Continental Congress.
Visit Old Dutch Parsonage, historic home of two delegates to New Jersey’s Provincial Congress, for an open house discussing Somerset County’s role on the road to revolution 250 years ago this summer.
Somerset County’s History on the Green featuring a pop-up encampment and more living history continues all day 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. on the Courthouse Green between N.
