Monmouth Battlefield’s commemoration of the 246th anniversary of the Battle of Monmouth will be celebrated with a reenactment on the weekend of June 15-16, 2024. (Father’s Day Weekend). Last year the Friends of Monmouth Battlefield ran a full-scale reenactment in honor of the 245th anniversary of the battle. It was their largest event in the past ten years, with about 800 reenactors and approximately 11,000 visitors.
This year will feature the reenactment and soldier camps as well as several talks and historical presentations both in the camps and the Visitor Center. There will also be children’s infantry and cannon drills.
