Washington Crossing Re-enactment – Washington Crossing, PA and Titusville, NJ

2010-Crossroads-Image-Library-044-1280x850-e1357708362216Reenactors prepare to embark on a recreation of the Christmas Night crossing of the Delaware River during the American Revolution. Volunteers spend many hours rehearsing scenes such as these in order to bring to life the cause and struggle for American independence. The uncertain future of the patriotic cause is seen in the eyes of an American soldier as he and his comrades prepare to cross the Delaware River on a stormy Christmas Night 1776 to attack Hessian troops garrisoned at Trenton, New Jersey.
