Don’t miss Batsto Village’s Revolutionary War Tour & Campfire on Saturday April 23rd at 4:00pm. Enjoy a night out by the campfire as your guide from Revolution Tours Inc. weaves Batsto’s historical significance into the broader context of the Revolution.
The American Revolution was a critical turning point in our nation’s historyRevolution was in the hearts and minds of the people. In this evening’s program are the detailed and individual story lines that tie the village and its people to revolution and an unknown future.
The audience will be provided with a guided tour of Batsto Village lasting 1 ½ hours. A campfire will follow with light refreshments. There will be talks of treason, loyalists, spies in Batsto, and tales of the bloody battles fought nearby in South Jersey and beyond.
