Crossroads is proud to announce that one of our board members, Ira Jersey, has been awarded the Distinguished Service Medal for his services in the SAR West Fields Chapter as: Assistant Chaplain, Color Guard, Treasurer, State Finance Committee, Past Chapter President , Scouting coordinator and benefactor. He was presented this distinction by President Warren Fristensky during the West Fields Chapter’s Annual Dinner on March 23rd at the Echo Lake Country Club in Springfield.
The Chapter Medal of Distinguished Service is the highest Medal that can be awarded by a chapter president during each year of his term of office. It is presented to a Compatriot for distinguished service rendered to the chapter during a chapter president’s term of office. Please join Crossroads in congratulating Ira on this special honor.
