First Night Morris 2016

Morristown is kicking off the NPS Centennial with a bang! On New Year’s Eve, the town of Morristown becomes an arts extravaganza that rings in the New Year and the National Park Service’s 100th birthday with fireworks!

December 31, 2015, marks the 24th year for New Jersey’s biggest and brightest New Year’s Eve family-friendly, alcohol-free celebration of the arts – with nearly 200 artists, over 85 events in 24+ venues – representing dance, theater, music, world cultures, visual arts, and children’s events. For all 24 years, Morris Arts has served as First Night’s artistic programmer, securing topflight talents who attract thousands of people from throughout the state and beyond. These spectacular artistic events begin at 4:45 pm in downtown Morristown.

The night ends with a literal bang with FIREWORKS that start at 9:15 pm and again at midnight to ring in the New Year!
