Celebrate George Washington’s birthday with Larry Kidder, local historian, author and Crossroads’ Revolutionary Neighbors coordinator and volunteer extraordinaire. Sponsored by the Princeton Battlefield Society, this illustrated lecture will discuss how Washington’s character and leadership skills were tested by events in New Jersey. The lecture will be followed by a book signing and refreshments. Mr. Kidder’s 2013 book, “A People Harassed and Exhausted: The Story of a New Jersey Militia Regiment in the American Revolution,” will be available for sale. A free-will donation for the Princeton Battlefield Society will be appreciated. Plenty of parking. Please RSVP to Kip at princetonbattlefieldsocinfo@gmail.com.
