Join Historian Jack Koeppel on Friday, Nov. 17, at Howell Living History Farm for a fascinating look at the story of Titusville Mills and the Fiddlers Creek Ravine. The presentation will tell the story of the enterprising Titus family and the business empire they created along Fiddlers Creek, near the village that bears their name. The talk includes photographs of mills and industries that once thrived on the banks of the Delaware River and nearby Delaware & Raritan Canal.
A lifelong resident of Hopewell Valley, Mr. Koeppel has studied the area’s past for many years, and in 1986 spearheaded a movement to establish a permanent collection of related artifacts and documents. He served many years as trustee of the Hopewell Valley Historical Society, Friends of Hopewell Valley Open Space and Howell Living History Farm.
