This week’s featured heritage partner is the Batsto Citizens Committee. Don’t miss their special Revolutionary War Tour & Campfire at Batsto Village on Saturday, Nov. 5th at 4:00pm. Kids and their families can step back into the 18th century and decide to join the fight for independence, then enjoy a fall campfire as night falls in the scenic New Jersey Pinelands.
The audience will be provided with a guided tour of Batsto Village lasting 1 ½ hours. Then the campfire will follow with light refreshments. There will be talks of treason, loyalists, spies in Batsto, and tales of the bloody battles fought nearby in South Jersey and beyond.
