Maple Madness at the DAR Van Bunschooten Museum- May 20

This promises to be one sweet lecture! Visit the DAR Van Bunschooten Museum on Monday, May 20 at 6pm for a special presentation called “Maple Madness.” Learn from Frank Henion about how the Native Americans first learned about sugar in maple sap and how they then taught early settlers. Then hear about the American Revolution when Maple Sugaring became popular in the North because of the ports blocked by the British, followed by more recent events.

For more information about this event check out the Van Bunschooten Museum’s new website here.
