NJ Teacher Wins Jeopardy’s 2016 Teachers Tournament- Grand Prize $100,000

Somerset resident Jason Sterlacci of Burnet Middle School in Union has been crowned Jeopardy’s 2016 Teachers Tournament Champion! Congratulations Jason! The tournament featured 15 teachers from across the country that put their knowledge to the test and competed to win $100,000. In addition to the prize, Jason also secured a spot in Jeopardy’s annual Tournament of Champions and received a $2,500 grant to use for classroom projects. He said he will use the grant to publish exceptional student creative writing in book and ebook form. For more information click here.
