Don’t miss the chance to experience 17th, 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries of history all in one place during the Spirit of the Jerseys State History Fair on May 14th at Monmouth Battlefield State Park.
The 2016 Fair will have over 170 exhibitors and feature some familiar faces from the past like George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, Molly Pitcher, Clara Barton, and Walt Whitman as well as such favorite activities as 19th baseball, horse-drawn plowing demonstrations, Phydeaux’s flying flea circus and period music. Special 2016 features include Meet a Colonial Brewer, Cooking 18th Century Style, and several Civil War themed programs. This annual fair will take place rain or shine!
