This includes the museum’s work to build a home for the Ross Hall Wall, a tangible witness to the United States’ first national expression of July 4th as Independence Day. General George Washington held a party at Ross Hall that evening with famous guests Alexander Hamilton, Marquis de Lafayette and Baron von Steuben. This piece of history will be housed in a new wing of the museum.
