Washington-Rochambeau Historic Trail Signs Debut in Plainfield

“Travelers along three of the area’s oldest roads will notice signs along the westbound lanes designating a significant event in American history that occurred in 1781: the 680-mile-long allied march from New England to Virginia which culminated at the Battle of Yorktown and the defeat of British General Lord Charles Cornwallis.
