The annual “Weekend in Old Monmouth” returns with 43 historic sites throughout Monmouth County opening their doors to visitors interested in local history on Saturday, April 30 and Sunday, May 1. Be sure to visit our heritage partners- Historic Village at Allaire, Village Inn (Battleground Historical Society), Oakley Farm (Freehold Twp. Heritage Society), Historic Walnford (Monmouth County Park System), Friends Monmouth Battlefield and Monmouth Battlefield State Park- Craig House, etc. The Weekend in Monmouth tour sites will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 30 and noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday, May 1, unless otherwise noted.
